Learn to Weave

One of the most common daily tasks amongst the ladies of the village is weaving. Here women use a back-strap loom to weave their vibrant and beautiful tapestries that are so closely connected to the village identity. As part of the experience we offer at Extreme Mayan Adventures, we allow the travelers who want to, the chance to learn this amazing artform. Things that the women of the village weave include:
