About Our Families

By staying with our families you will have a truly authentic experience in Guatemala. At Extreme Mayan Adventures we only work with traditional Mayan families. Our families are experts on everything regarding their own culture and can teach you many things. We will place you with an excellent family with whom you will learn the traditional culture and village life.

Note: depending on the cultural activity you are learning you might work with somebody in the community who specializes in your interest. This person might not be a member of the family in your Mayan home.
